Program Description

RI license plates are available with the following designations: Disabled Veteran, Prisoner of War, Purple Heart recipient, Veteran, National Guard member, and Gold Star Parent.

How To Apply

• Complete the Application for Registration and bring it to the DMV.

Documentation

• DD-214 or proof of military record.
• Disabled Veteran: Form from Providence VA Regional Office describing injury.
• National Guard: Letter from commanding officer validating National Guard status.
